Our owner/artist has 16 years experience in tattoo and piercing. He has been a teacher to student tattoo and piercing artists.
For piercing, we do it quickly and surprisingly painlessly, straight, clean, and in the right spot–effortlessly.
Professional piercing is available for almost all areas of the body, excluding your very private parts, but including the very acceptable practices of ears, nose, belly button, eyebrow to more “hardcore” styles like ear-stretching, hands, nape (back of the neck), fingers, body, back and so much more. We are professional at piercing and professional in our practice.
For tattooing, we have an artist eye and hand. We love art. We love to make all sorts of art, not just tattoo, but painting, drawings, designs, language and poetry. We can help you with your design concept, lead you in the right direction, and implement the design with the certitude that comes with years of experience. Our Specialty is language and written designs. We have many fonts and designs in our files for your viewing pleasure you can see some on our ‘tattoo’ page.

We are fluent–yes, truly fluent– in Persian (Farsi), Turkish, Azeri (Azerbaijan), English, and Korean. We also speak with some confidence Russian and Spanish.
What about safety?
We are USA OSHA Bloodborne Pathogens Certified. We use new piercing and tattoo needles, ink holders, gloves every time. We DO NOT find any satisfaction putting your body at RISK. You’d think that’s the norm for shops, but unfortunately it’s not!

The Bloodborne Pathogens Certificate is a standard maintained by better tattoo and piercing shops in the United States–so you can keep your foreign standards. This ensures you that we do know how to handle needles, how to prevent disease in environments where blood is present, that we properly sanitize our equipment, and that we properly dispose of all used items.

From Samduk Fire Station (119):
Walk towards all the downtown life on the red bricked street. Walk straight until you see Mr. Pizza on your right.
At Mr. Pizzatake a left through the shoe market (Shoe Street) and walk straight. See *PERSIA* Persian Piercingon your left.
To get to Samduk Fire Stationby taxisay: “SAHM-DUCK SUH-BOHNG-SUH ka-joo-say-yo”. This fire station is a popular landmark in downtown Daegu. Located on the far right side of the map.
From Banwouldang (Ban wol dang) Subway Station:
In the subway shopping center exit from exit 10. Go up the escalators on the right hand side of the exit. When you are at the top of the escalators you will seeShinhan Bank on your left walk towards Paris Baguette.
Walk down the road that goes between Shinhan Bankand Paris Baguette.
Then, you will come to a bigger street with lots of bright white phone stores (Mobile Phone Street). Cross the street. Walk to the left. There is a small sign up high which reads: Dongseong 2 (gil).
Turn right on the little red bricked road named Dongseong 2 (gil). Walk straight. *PERSIA* Persian Piercing is on the right.
To get to Banwoldang Subway Station by taxi say:“BAHN-WUHL-DAHNG SHIN-HAN-OON-HAYNG AH-PAY ka-joo-say-yo” to the taxi driver. He or she should drop you off in front of Shinhan Bank and you can go from there.
From Kyobo Bookstore:
Walk out of Kyobo and turn right. Turn right again and Go towards the downtown life on the red bricked street.
Walk straight until you see McDonalds, Bennigans, and Burger King. You will also see a performance stage.
At McDonalds, take a left behind the stage.
Take a right on the next street. Walk straight until you see another red bricked street to your left. You will also see an girl’s underwear shop (on the left).
Take a left onto the red bricked street. You will pass Billibowon your left. Pass Starbucks and Daegu Bank on your right.
Take a right on the next street where you will see a sort of outdoor shoe market (Shoe Street).
Walk straight. See *PERSIA*Persian Piercing on your left.
Our Gyeongju Location is in downtown. Near the Asian Food Mart and on the left side of the street if you are on Post Office Road going towards downtown. We are also down the streets from the old king’s tombs. We will upload a map very soon.

Pretty Persian Tattoo created at Persian Piercing tattoo parlor in Daegu, South Korea. Written in the natural hand of the Persian artist and owner of the shop. This one is a Korean wisdom quote about beauty translated into Persian (translation by the foreigner artist–as he speaks Korean and Persian, fluently–as well as English) and the names of those dear to the customer. Persian style has always been a classic choice and has risen recently in popularity partly because of Angelina Jolie’s famous Persian tattoo (old Persian style writing) on her upper left shoulder.

So, if you are just moving to Daegu you can see how far you live from the nightlife downtown and or find some new places to explore if you’ve been here a while:
TIMING
You can figure the time it takes you to get somewhere like this: The time between each stop is about 2 or 2.5 minutes. So, if you are in Banwoldang, the time to get to Daegu Bank on the green line would be about 4 minutes on the actual subway. Remember, though, you have to figure in walking time within the subway which can add an extra 10 or 20 minutes.
A BRIEF OVERVIEW
Banwoldang(pronounced BAN-UHL-DAHNG) is the heart of Daegu, and the crosspoint of the green line and red line. There is an underground shopping center there and it’s pretty big and therefor easy to get lost. The best places to come up are exits 10 and 13 if you are trying to get to the downtown general area for shopping, clubs, and restaurants.
HOMEPLUS you can find an excellent array of spices, tortillas, cheeses, and other foreign food that you miss–not everything, of course, but it’s close–at the Nae-dang Homeplus, located on the Green Line. Just go up through exit 1. COSTCO also has lots of foreign food, however, it’s not located on a subway line and can be a bit expensive to take a taxi there. Also, there is a Homeplus located on the green line at Sin-mae (pronounced SHIN-MAY).
Sinmae and Sawol are also the stops for the many foreigners that live in Sigi-dong.
At Daegu Station you can get to the main train station and take trains all around Korea.
Duryu (pronounced DO-ROO) is also an underground shopping mall like Banwoldang and is very large underground. However, you can get to Duryu Park from here where there are sometimes festivals. I recommend getting off at Duryu and asking a taxi driver to take you to Duryu Park by saying DO-ROO KYUNG-WAHN.
Keimyung University is the stop for a big university in Daegu. If you go to Keimyung University stop, get out and take a taxi to Keimyung North Gate (pronounced in Korean: KAY MYUNG BOOK MOON). Once there, cross the street (away from the gate) and go left up the hill. Around this area you can find Sugar Joe’s a popular bar (check out the roof!) and a variety of very delicious Indian food restaurants, among other things.
